Diatone 2019 R349, R249 & R239 - 45 Degree VTX Antenna Mount (Turtle Mode Friendly)

I created this design specifically for my new Diatone 2019 R349, but I believe it will work just as well for the R239 and R249 since they share the same canopy. After watching numerous YouTube reviews, I noticed that everyone was complaining about the antenna placement, so I came up with a solution to fix that issue. This design will also come in handy when using turtle mode! I designed this part to be printed in TPU, as I don't think it would work at all in any other material, and even if it did, it would likely break in a crash and damage your antenna, which is why I highly recommend printing it with flexible filaments like TPU. To avoid using supports, I divided the design into two sections: the stand and the fin section. The fin has some blocks on the side that serve as supports during printing, so be sure to cut them off after printing. I found that the best way to join the two pieces is with a hot soldering iron. I intentionally added 2mm to the bottom of the fin to ensure a strong bond between the two parts. Once you've joined the pieces together, all you need to do is secure everything with three zip ties.
