Diana Stormrider / Bandit Air Gun Silencer Moderator Suppressor M10x1 Thread

This moderator is exclusively designed for use with air guns! Do not attempt to mount it on any other type of firearm! Follow local laws regarding moderators in your area. For Germany: According to my understanding of the law, this silencer must be labeled with a warning sign that reads, "for F pneumatic firearms only." The letter "F" must be the same "F" found in the pentagon symbol for free weapons. This moderator has a diameter of 30mm and is 137mm long. It is specifically designed to fit a Diana Bandit or Stormrider air gun. The Diana Stormrider/Bandit features a large gap behind the threads for the silencer, utilizing an M10x1 thread. Due to this unique design, the moderator may not be compatible with other air guns. The inside bore of the 5.5mm components is 7mm, while it is 6mm for the 4.5mm version. An alternative design that will fit most air guns can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4298162 Compared to the moderator supplied with the gun, this one is quieter and alters the tone of the shot. It is also lighter, making it easier to hold the entire firearm. I no longer use the original silencer. The entire design was created using 3D printing technology; however, some type of sound-dampening material must be added to the chambers. I am still experimenting with various materials, but so far, microfiber cloth appears promising (the pink cloth in the image). I have tested this moderator with over 3000 shots in 5.5mm and it has performed without any issues. Additionally, I regularly disassemble it, and the printed threads continue to hold up fine. **Update** * A high polygon count version of the main body was added for a more rounded appearance. The example images were printed using the non-HIGH POLY version. **Pay close attention to the inside parts and end cap as there are versions designed specifically for 4.5mm and 5.5mm pellets!** I recommend the following print settings: * Print with 100% infill to ensure the walls are solid and air-tight. * Use a 0.15mm layer height for any components with threads and 0.20mm for the rest. In Prusa Slicer, I use the "Quality Preset." * Print the main tube with a brim to help it stick to the bed. The main body tube and cone have a 1-layer thick inside brim to facilitate sticking to the plate during printing. This must be removed before using the silencer. Print the following components for assembly: * 2x Chamber 41mm Part A * 1x Chamber 25mm Part A * 3x Chamber Part B * 1x End Cap * 1x Moderator Tube M10x1 Chamber Part B must be glued onto Chamber Part A. Loosely wrap a soft cloth around the chamber parts, and you may also apply one or two turns of Teflon tape to each part to seal any air gaps between the chambers and the main body. The Teflon tape is optional. Assemble the silencer in the following order for optimal results: 41mm Chamber, 25mm Chamber, 41mm Chamber, End Cap Cone-only version: This design is similar to the original Bandit Silencer. * 10x Cone 10.6mm * 1x End Cap * 1x Moderator Tube M10x1 Please let me know if you create your own baffles or inside parts for this silencer, and I'll add links to your designs.
