Diamonds with 57/58 facets

This is another one of a kind diamond featuring 57 and 58 facets, plus an extra culet for added sparkle. Its angles are carefully crafted to mirror those found in real diamonds, resulting in a stunning gem that looks remarkably like the real thing. During development, I noticed that a girdle is essential for authentic diamonds to prevent chipping when mounted on a ring's rim. While ideal diamond cuts can do without a culet, as they have pavilion facets meeting at one point and therefore boast 57 facets, adding a culet makes it the 58th facet in this model. The other diamond models on this site either have an irregular shape or are poorly replicated. On 03/20/2017, I updated the diamond models' bazel facet precision to make the surface smoother and more even, corrected the facets' orientation and normals, and added models with a girdle.
