DiamondMind V2 - Modified Z Stop Assembly

DiamondMind V2 - Modified Z Stop Assembly

thingiverse

This revamped Z Stop caters to DiamondMind V2 3D Printer users, simplifying Z-Stop adjustments via a turn of the knob. The package contains a main bracket, stopper, and adjustment knob. To complete the modification, you'll need a 100mm M8 bolt, nut, nylock nut, and a small screw. Version 1.2 has been updated to rectify vertical play issues in the adjustment bolt. After printing the three components, remove the original bolt and wing nuts assembly. Fitting the nut/nylock into the new bracket may be tricky but is possible with long nose pliers assistance. The standard nut goes in the opposite hole. Slide the bracket onto the printer's Z Stop black plastic frame, centering the holes and screwing the bolt through the bracket. Secure the end of the bracket using a small screw to prevent movement during knob adjustments. Install the knob and end stop, and you're done! Revert to stock setup if desired. Included files are Sketchup, STL, and G-Code.
