Diamond Pendant 2 3D print model

The leap from geometric solid to a wireframe model occurs with ease through digital parametric means. Voronoi diagrams, surface subdivisions, patterning, and surface thickening are standard scripts that facilitate quick design work, resulting in a highly stylized yet common aesthetic often associated with parametric modeling. This raises the challenge of creating designs that effectively utilize computer-aided iterative processes. A typology was developed for this pendant, which was then iterated against both edge count and surface subdivision to produce 24 diamond pendants. From this selection, two were handpicked based on their design and aesthetic appeal, taking into account the limitations of 3D printing technology. The file includes four different models; it can be easily scaled as needed. Each individual model is approximately 22mm x 22mm x 40mm in size. This product was designed using Rhino 3D software and exported to STL, OBJ, and 3DS file formats.
