Diamond Pattern IPhone 5 Case
myminifactory
I designed this iPhone 5s/5c case using Solidworks. I discovered a pattern consisting of diamond shapes and circles that repeated across the back of the phone case, creating an interesting look. By reducing the size of the pattern, I maintained an interesting appearance while protecting most of the phone's back with minimal material. The case clips quickly onto the phone, shielding it from scratches on both the back and edges. I created this design to print fast and easily - simply place it flat down on the print bed so that it prints without support materials or additional measures. I printed one using an Ultimaker 2, but other printers will also work well. For optimal results, use white PLA at a layer height of 0.2mm and a print speed of 50mm/s. However, you can reduce the layer height further or choose slower print settings to produce an even higher-quality case.
