The replacement part for the top piece of a diamond lighting lamp needs to be securely fastened using two specific bolts. To mount this component to the lamp itself, you will need to use two 8-32 by 3/4 inch bolts. One more bolt is required to attach the shade and finial; a 1 1/4-28 by 1 inch bolt fits perfectly for this purpose. Please note that your results may vary due to differences in hardware specifications, as I had to retap the existing holes to accommodate the new bolts and used an older 1/4-28 bolt with a smaller head than what is typically available today.
