Diamond Dresser for Bench Grinder and Oregon Blade Sharpener
prusaprinters
This is my design for a single-point bench grinder diamond dresser. Additionally, I have included an adapter so the dresser can be used on an Oregon blade sharpener. The user must supply the diamond shaft and cut ½"-13 threads on the shaft. If you can't source a diamond shaft with threads, it is best to use a lathe to cut the threads. However, I was able to cut the threads using my drill press by clamping a die in a vise and turning the drill chuck with a punch.Because the ¼" holes are printed vertically, they should be cleaned up with a tap.The user must also supply ¼"-20 × ½" button-head screws.A respirator is required when using this tool to dress a grinding stone.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:Prusa Printer: I3 MK3SRafts: No Supports: NoResolution: 0.15mm, but 0.10mm for Nut and Knob Infill: 15% for Adapter Body, 20% for Body, 100% for Guide Plate, Nut, Knob, and Adapter StepFilament:Prusament PLA Black Notes: Body:0.15mm layer height20% infill4 perimetersavoid crossing perimetersalign seamsGuide Plate:0.15mm layer height100% infill4 perimetersavoid crossing perimetersalign seamsiron the top surfaceNut and Knob:0.10mm layer height100% infill4 perimetersavoid crossing perimetersalign seamsiron the top surfaceAdapter Body:0.15mm layer height15% infill4 perimetersavoid crossing perimetersalign seamsAdapter Step:0.15mm layer height100% infill4 perimetersavoid crossing perimetersalign seamsiron the top surface Category: Machine Tools
