I design to represent the diamond cubic crystal structure, a model that showcases its intricate and complex geometry in an accessible way. With a cube edge length of 25 cm, assembly becomes an engaging process, allowing users to experience the physical properties of this unique material. For optimal printing results, the following parameters are recommended: 12 Short Sticks 12 Long Sticks 20 Half-Sphere Holes with Spheres attached (cut into quarters for ease) 16 Full Spheres Additional units can be printed by duplicating this process and connecting them as needed. Spheres may be attached using glue or a heat source, ensuring a secure connection.
