Dialga- 3D Print Ready
thingiverse
This is still a work-in-progress because I plan to eventually break it down into smaller pieces that can fit on even the smallest printers, but for now I've put in an all-nighter and need a break. It's been my toughest challenge yet as far as revisiting Blender and redoing parts of the model so they're printable, but I really wanted a Dialga so badly that I stuck with it. The sad part is this is about as small as it gets. The back piece is too thin to print smaller and if I thicken it any more, it'll sacrifice some detail. Some people might prefer to lose the detail and print smaller - if that's what you want, just let me know and I may work on another one for those individuals. Besides Darkrai, this is one of my favorite Pokémon, so I'm eager to print it and see other people printing theirs too. Good luck and happy printing! **EDIT:** Sep-9-18 - Sliced the model into smaller segments, added alignment pins. Pins are made with a 0.1mm tolerance, if there's an issue, the alignment holes are 7mmX10mmX11mm Elliptical Cylinders - you can make your own if needed. I'm still keeping this a work-in-progress until I get the chance to print it out. The printer I was going to use is currently getting its hot-end replaced, so I'll get back to it as soon as that's done. Sep-18-18 - Added picture of printed model - Adjusted the size of the pins to 9.55mmX6.66mmX9.05mm - Thickened the accents on the head for easier printing - No longer a work-in-progress **Legal:** I don't claim ownership of the original model, it belongs to *The Pokémon Company*. These are just me making changes to make the models 3D print-friendly.
