Dial Soap Bar Dispenser
thingiverse
This is a customizable dispenser for Dove bar soap. The included design accommodates 8 bar storage, which is the maximum capacity that can be printed on an Ender 3 printer. Boxes are loaded from the top and retrieved from the bottom with an indicator window displaying the number of boxes stored. You can actually store up to 9 boxes because the Z dimensions are quite generous, providing extra space. The tolerance around each box in both X and Y directions is a buffer that accounts for slight variations in soap bar size measured, ensuring bars do not get stuck in the dispenser. Adjusting the width of the bar instead might be a more ideal solution. The uploaded .stl file was created using the following parameters: soap_width = 65.12; // 148 (lines) * 0.44 (line width) soap_length = 92.84; // 211 (lines) * 0.44 (line width) soap_height = 28; // 140 (lines) * 0.2 (line width) number_of_soaps = 8; wall_thickness = 2.64; // 6 (lines) * 0.44 (line width) // Distance around soap box. Increase if too tight, decrease if too loose. tolerance = 2.1; If you want to store soap that comes in a box instead of a thin wrapper, try my other design at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4058303
