Dial Mount for Ender 5 Pro
thingiverse
This is a dial gauge mount for an Ender 5 Pro. I assume the hot end design is the same for the Ender 5 and Ender 5 Plus, but have included the actual design file in two formats if you need to adjust it for your machine. This mount was designed for this gauge: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G9K7KCK The gauge appears to be fairly typical, so other similar models may work as well. The gauge attaches to the mount with whatever bolt you may have laying around. I used a #8-32x1-1/2 inch bolt with matching nut and washers, but anything that fits will work just fine. I printed it with supports because of the mounting holes. Using supports is probably not necessary. Once you attach the gauge to the printed mount, the mount itself simply slides onto the front of the hot end as shown in the images. You can either disable your stepper motors and move the X & Y axes by hand to measure if your print bed it level, or use the Move Axis options in the menu. This will help you with leveling your bed, or identifying high and low spots, but it will not be useful in setting the nozzle distance from the bed in the first place. That will still need to be done with whatever method you prefer first.
