UPDATE I've upgraded the file to accommodate any X-axis bar as long as they are 5/16 inch, while the bottom now rests freely on the forward side instead of locking in place. This dial gauge mount is specifically designed for Prusa i3 users and attaches securely to the top of the x-axis bar before resting against the bottom one. The result is remarkably accurate measurements of your bed level that can be achieved in mere seconds. To use it, you simply need to calibrate the nozzle height once with a business card. Once calibrated, set your zero mark on the gauge and slide your table around effortlessly. I've used a Harbor Freight dial gauge, available at http://www.harborfreight.com/1-inch-travel-machinists-dial-indicator-623.html The bolt is carefully designed to fit snugly up against the back of the gauge, preventing any rocking motion that might affect accuracy. In some cases, you may need to tap it gently with a hammer to secure it in place properly.
