Dial Indicator Mount

This mount was designed specifically for the Ender 2 to be used with a FleBay dial indicator and 6mm x 3mm round neodymium magnets. The link to purchase these items is provided below, although it's also possible to buy them in smaller quantities if needed. It makes bed levelling a lot easier. My process involves the following steps: - Heat the bed and nozzle to the desired temperature. - Run through the Ender 2's "auto bed level" function by clicking through to the fifth point, which should be the midpoint of the bed in both x and y axes. - Use a feeler gauge to level the bed at 0.01mm, depending on the offset used in your slicer of choice. - Raise the z-axis to 30mm. - Install the gauge using the right-angle protrusion to index it and "zero" it out. - Run the gauge in x and y axes to determine the levelness of the bed and make adjustments as needed, aiming for a variance of around 0.02mm throughout the bed, which is easy to achieve and sufficient for printing with 0.2mm first layers. - Remove the gauge before starting your print. Please note that I have designed this mount to be able to stick to both the "front" and "right side" of the hotend case. This allows you to test most of the bed surface. I normally use it on the "front" to test the x-axis and on the "right side" to test the y-axis.
