This is a slide-on mount for a dial caliper designed to fit snugly over the extruder motor, providing an essential tool for leveling the print bed with precision. The fixture features a countersink specifically tailored for an M6 flathead screw, allowing for secure attachment from the inside of the mount. Strategically placed notches along the sides enable easy cable routing to the motor, accommodating various orientations while also granting the mount a degree of flexibility for effortless on and off sliding. For added functionality, users can utilize this mount to verify the perpendicularity of the Z axis relative to the bed by employing a machinist's square and possibly a mirror to read the indicator display accurately. This design was specifically crafted with the Harbor Freight dial indicator in mind, item #93295.
