I needed an alternative to the other 0XA tool post dial indicator holders, but I wasn't pleased with having to print multiple units just to change their orientation. I decided to repurpose my boring bar holder and a small holding block attached to a bolt instead. The side thread is a standard 3/8-16, while the clamping screw measures #6-3/4. A bit over 3/8 will fit through the opening for the indicator stem to accommodate my harbor freight indicator. I've included the scad file for anyone who wants to adjust the dimensions. To utilize this design, you'll need the OpenScad thread library from dkprojects.net.
