Other hardware needed: A 6mm or SAE equivalent bolt and nut are required. Using paxamime's original dial indicator gauge mounts as a base, I modified them to fit a Harbor Freight or Chinese equivalent digital dial indicator gauge. It's one of the most common models of digital dial indicator found. Two modifications were made. The first modification fits over the stock stamped steel axis stiffener and snugs up against it nicely. The second modification allows the dial to mount directly to the piece, not sandwiched in-between two pieces of plastic. That option did look neat but made printing the part without supports impossible for me. My own printer with an E3D hot-end requires the zero offset version of the mount.
