Here's Another Dial Indicator Mount: It's Designed with the Harbor Freight Analog Model in Mind. This Time Around, I Created a Holder That Fits Perfectly - I Found It on Thingiverse and Named It. Unfortunately, When I Placed the Dial Indicator Inside, I Realized It Was a Little Too Short for My Gantry Rods. But Being the Tinkerer That I Am, I Quickly Racked My Brain to Come Up with a Solution. Lucky for Me, I Had a Spare Part Sitting in the Drawer - One That I Had Been Meaning to Get Around to Fixing My Raised and Extended Bed. After Fiddling with Both Items, I Realized That All I Needed to Do Was Fit the First Item into the Second. To Make It Stick, I Simply Used Zip Ties to Hold the Dial Indicator Securely in Place. Here's What You'll Need to Follow: Print It: You'll Need a 3D Printer to Get This Process Started. Glue It: Once Printed, Just Add Some Glue to Keep Things Held Together Tight. Screw It In: If You Prefer Something a Little More Permanent, Just Use Your Drill to Screw It in Place. Use It: The Moment of Truth - Simply Mount It and Start Tinkering!
