I need something to show how warped my bed is, so I'm making a dial indicator holder for the Original Prusa i3 MK2 specifically designed for the Harborfreight Pittsburgh digital dial indicator. I remixed the nut and bolt from 'NUT JOB | Nut, Bolt, Washer and Threaded Rod Factory' on thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:193647). Here's a video of how it was printed: https://youtu.be/bU1O3QQdJ5k Printer Settings: The Original Prusa i3 MK2 printer was used for this project. Rafts and Supports Don't Matter, Resolution is 200, Infill is yes. Notes: A bracket with 20% infill was printed. The nut has 20% infill as well. However, the bolt was printed with 100% infill while lying on its side, which prevents de-lamination of threads. Post-Printing Instructions: Remove support from the parts and sand down any rough edges on the bolt. To Use: Take off the extruder assembly and attach the dial indicator bracket using 3mm nuts. I will update the required bolt length for mounting once I have a chance to do it myself.
