Dial Indicator for the Original Printrbot LC
thingiverse
I have customized the dial indicator specifically for the Printrbot LC, avoiding modifications required for the plus-sized versions. By modifying the OpenSCAD file, it is now easier to adjust for various x-carriage rod spacings and sizes as well as different tab diameters on the dial indicator. Print out (preferably ABS but most printing materials will work) until the dial indicator fits snugly in place. You may use the locking bar designed by RetireeJay if desired, but mine worked seamlessly without it. Next, simply attach the device to your X-axis for bed leveling. Always remove the clip before using your printer and ensure it doesn't collide with your print head during operation.
