Here's a magnetic mount for a dial indicator, designed to screw in place of a 40mm fan or over one. This makes it easier to level a build plate more accurately. The digital dial indicator in the picture measures 57mm in diameter. It uses short M3 socket cap screws to attach to the fan mounting holes and 5mm x 3mm cylinder magnets to hold the dial indicator in place.
