To attach a dial indicator to a RepRapPro Mendel's front extruder mount, first secure it to the bracket using a M6 bolt/screw and nut. Then, place the assembly in the extruder mount and fasten it with the adjustment screw. This setup is designed for use with this dial indicator: http://www.jula.se/matklocka-256065; however, a similar one should work as well. Once completed, your dial indicator will be securely positioned for accurate measurements.
