I bought a budget-friendly dial indicator from Amazon to help with bed leveling. The device came with a flat back plate, which contradicted the product pictures I had seen. Instead of dealing with the hassle of returns and reordering, I chose to design my own custom part. Unfortunately, I didn't have access to a CAD program, so I decided to use Cinema 4D for the task. The dial indicator I used is made by Vktech and can be found on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MUCQ4EM.
