By swapping out the back plate with a mounting lug featuring a flat, printed back, I successfully added considerable twisting motion to this mount. This modification only works seamlessly with a flat back plate in place. If my custom-made design doesn't fit your indicator perfectly, you'll need to create your own solution. One of the pivot bolts has had part of its head removed to allow for maximum travel on the indicator. To accommodate users working with 6mm bolts and nuts, I've included additional files. As a resident of the USA, my access to metric hardware is limited, so I relied solely on dimensional data from the net. These new designs haven't been printed or tested yet; I'd love to hear your feedback on them.
