Dial Holder for Prusa i3 X dual extruder modified
thingiverse
I was dissatisfied with the imprecise method of leveling my build platform using a piece of scrap paper. I came across TheRavenMaker's concept for mounting a dial (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1260597) and actually built it, but then decided to make some modifications. My printer is a dual extruder, but I removed one of the extruders to reduce weight in hopes of enhancing print quality. That left ample space to mount the dial in the area where the second extruder was originally located. This design only functions in my specific circumstances; otherwise, TheRavenMaker's original design works exceptionally well. I selected this particular dial but any other one with a bracket on the back could have been used (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000DD0VA?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00).
