Dial gauge mount for Gregs extruder. Prusa I3

thingiverse

Your initial 3D model is a dial gauge mount for your Prusa I3 printer featuring a Greg's extruder, designed to fit your 8mm shaft Ebay dial gauge. An updated version 2 (V2) of this model has been released in October 2013 with some improvements. V2 boasts easier installation due to the use of shorter screws (M4x15), which can be mounted or removed without fully unscrewing them. It also features an extra screw for a more secure attachment to the dial gauge. To print this V2 model, follow the same STL position and re-drill the main hole with an 8mm drill bit, doing so slowly and in a counter-clockwise direction. For installation, use three M4x15 screws with nuts - two to fix the extruder barrel and another for setting the comparator. The initial V1 model was mounted using two M4x30mm screws into Greg's M4 nuts. Both versions were printed in PLA.
