This low-cost Harbor Freight model#623 dial indicator (http://www.harborfreight.com/1-inch-travel-machinists-dial-indicator-623.html) features a rounded ball that swiftly glides over the Kapton tape build surface, expediting platform leveling in approximately 5 minutes. Notably, its adjustment varies at 110C compared to room temperature. To mount it, I used a Dremel to modify a 1/4-20 bolt, removing the head and creating a slot for a screwdriver. For comprehensive level checks, RepG control panel's 10mm jogging feature is employed across the entire platform surface.
