Dial caliper mounting bracket for Raise3D
thingiverse
Raise3D N2 and N2 Plus printers arrive with a fully calibrated build plane, but it's unusual for them to require calibration adjustments during use. However, if necessary adjustments are needed, such as when using a non-standard platform, the process is quite complex. Beneath the build plane lie numerous regulation points, each equipped with three distinct screws. Without proper tools, this can be a daunting task. The mounting bracket, designed to hold a Borletti dial caliper, proves incredibly useful in simplifying this operation. By attaching it to the extruder assembly and adjusting each point to maintain equal distance from the extruder, the process becomes significantly easier. The bracket is rigid enough to guarantee precision and allows for an impressive tolerance of 0.01-0.02 mm across all build plates. A provided 3DM model enables users to modify the size of the bracket to accommodate different dial calipers.
