Diabloceratops eatoni stands out as one of the oldest and most unique ceratopsian dinosaurs - comparable to the famous Triceratops. This intriguing creature originates from the Wahweap formation in Utah, placing it alongside only a few other horned dinosaurs found south of Montana's border - many are discovered in the Dakotas, Montana, and Alberta, Canada. During Diabloceratops' prime time on earth, North America was geographically divided into two massive landmasses, Laramidia and Appalachia, while a shallow sea known as the Western Interior Seaway occupied much of what is now considered the country's midwest today. This work of art came to life in Blender before taking its final shape in Mudbox.
