DiabloBladeBase
thingiverse
Greetings! This is my first post on Thingiverse. I fell in love with the concept of the Handi-Saw 2000 for metal blades, but it didn't fit my hand perfectly. Since I plan to use this in less-than-ideal situations, I made several modifications. * The handle was enlarged slightly. * The depth of the blade cutout was reduced to allow a tighter fit with Diablo metal cutting carbide blades. * More pronounced finger cutouts were created with large ends for better grip in wet environments. * The blade was angled forward by 5 degrees. * A longer backstrap with serrations was added for downward pressure using the thumb. * No additional hole is needed to modify the blade. * Blackstrap screw reinforces the back edge of the blade to prevent handle wear.
