Diablo, a malevolent force known as al'Diabalos or The Prime Evil, is the central figure in the Diablo series, serving as both main antagonist and title character. He is one of the three most powerful demons residing in the Burning Hells and a prominent character within the games and novels based on the franchise. In reality, Dialon, the spirit of Determination of the Triune church, is an incarnation of Diablo. As the most visionary and strongest of all Prime Evils, he rules over the Realm of Terror in Hell. Alongside his brothers Baal and Mephisto, Diablo forms the Three, a trio of powerful Prime Evils. Created from one of Tathamet's seven heads alongside other Great Evils, Diablo initially emerged from the dragon's blood amidst the raging fogs that once engulfed the world. For eons, he and his brothers commanded the Burning Hells, leading Hell's armies against the Heavenly Host of the High Heavens.
