First Time Cutting/Publishing! Important Guidelines for Newbies Okay, so I'm completely new to this whole 3D printing thing. Still figuring it out. So, here are my Cura settings for anyone else in the same boat: 1. Layer height: really low - just .1! 2. Shell Thickness: not too thin, though - more like 1.2. 3. Bottom Fill: solid choice here, but not overwhelming at 1.2. 4. Printing Temperature: getting hot, real hot, with a setting of 210. 5. Support needed? Not if it's just touching the build plate! 6. Platform Preferences: Brim all the way - that's how I like to do it. Printing Options: * Inital Layer Thickness: really thin at first - about .3! * Travel Speed: keeping things moving at a brisk pace with 60. * Filling Infill Space: speed set at 20 for both inside and out, along with the top and bottom. Outer space has to be explored quickly too, hence speed 20 here as well.
