Diabetic sharps container

<p>I designed this simple sharps container to be printed without supports quickly and I wanted a compact form factor. I also wanted to make sure people knew there were sharps in there so I put a biohazard ☣️ symbol and a “WARNING SHARPS” on the top and bottom. The cap (the side that has “WARNING SHARPS“ can be screwed into place without the sharps interfering with the threads as long as you insert the sharps into the bottom (which has a biohazard symbol ☣️ ). I wanted the container to be small so it only fits 2-3 insulin pen tips and a few finger stick tips. That means that this case will last you probably a day’s worth of insulin. </p><p> </p><p>The text is set .5mm into the model so I put a layer change at .8mm and 1.8mm to get the nice text and biohazard symbol. I used .2mm layers and 3D Fuel Autumn Orange and Midnight Black. </p><p> </p><p>Happy Printing!!!</p>
