LCD enclosure for Wanhao Duplicator i3 plus (mine is a Mark 2) Based on the PCB slot from the excellent "Wanhao Duplicator I3 Plus LCD enclosure by bosbessenbasje" Remixed to incorporate the following: - Raised viewing angle to 50 degrees - Recess around MicroSD slot - Mounts into printer front panel recess (no additional fasteners required) - Floating design with base above table surface - unaffected by use of printer levelling feet etc - Bottom plate which acts as retaining clip To install: - Remove bottom plate from printer to disconnect LCD flat ribbon cable (I tried from the front only - but you risk damaging the ribbon) - Push the PCB into slot from the bottom until it clips into place (there are retaining clips for the top holes of the PCB. To remove PCB use a screwdriver at the top of the vertical slots on the back of the enclosure upper) - Clip upper enclosure onto the top edge of the printer front aperture (start at one end and push to clip on) - With the front of the printer overhanging the edge of a table insert the hook of the enclosure lower clip onto the bottom edge of the printer front aperture (see photo) - Swing clip up and clip under front edge of PCB (Note I increased the size of the SD recess in the model after printing - there is now a small bridge but it should print OK )
