Di3 backplate for 80mm fan

Di3 backplate for 80mm fan

Here's my take on the original design, using an 80mm fan that replaces the standard backplate assembly. This setup allows for the largest fan possible, fitting alongside the power connector and a switch without extending the box length, unlike larger fan backplates. A standard IEC socket is used, paired with a common 13x20mm switch boasting at least a 10A AC current rating to match the maximum allowable plugtop fuse on any IEC lead. From a hardware perspective, you'll need either two short self-tapping screws for the power connector or two 8mm M3 bolts and two M3 nuts as an alternative. The fan itself should come with its own screws, while the switch is designed to push in.
