DI2 to 3 pin JS2 adapter
thingiverse
Acquire two 3/16" x 1/4" spring pins and solder red and black wire onto them, respectively. Positive is towards the pointed end - failure to do further research may result in a destroyed $1500 DI2 buildout. I will not be held responsible for any damage. Print Thing 3 and the cap separately. Insert the spring pins with attached wires into the cap and run wiring through the non-cap piece. Solder a 3-pin male JS2 connector to the wires, which connects to a standard or high-capacity 7.4v battery. The adapter should fit snugly into your DI2 battery mount; secure it with a zip tie through the center slot. This setup has been in use for months and includes a custom-built 11000mah 7.4v battery. If you have any questions, let me know.
