It's intended for use with the Arduino DHT11 sensor, which has been disassembled from its original blue housing and secured using two small screws that hold it firmly in place on a surface. Originally used to upgrade a laptop cooling pad with an Arduino Nano, this setup allows fans to be turned on or off based on temperature readings taken by the sensor. Although functional at present, plans are underway to increase the size of the screw support for added stability.
