These are replacement landing gear files designed specifically for the DH-410 foldable drone frame. Version three is the latest iteration, boasting a lighter weight and reduced material usage while incorporating an innovative groove that allows LED wires to pass underneath with ease. After printing, carefully pry out the small support situated within this groove, taking care to avoid damaging it in the process. The groove itself is wider and extends parallel to the sides of the landing gear for added stability. It's essential to print these files without any support as required; instead, rely on the built-in support that can be easily removed once printed. To achieve optimal results, use a 40% infill or higher. The version two will exhibit superior strength compared to its predecessor. This longer variant (measuring 38.1mm/1.5 inches) accommodates the three-axis gimbal with adequate ground clearance, while its solid construction boasts a thickness of 10.5mm (compared to the original 2mm). Version one was designed with 2mm thickness in mind when printed using PLA, replicating the appearance of the original carbon fiber frame that comes with the drone. To verify fit and functionality, I test printed it at 1mm thickness with a 20% infill rate. Although it performed well, I suspect it might be slightly weaker than the original due to its reduced thickness. However, printing this design with ABS or PLA using a higher infill percentage (70% or more) and 2mm thickness could potentially yield a stronger result. I look forward to exploring these options in future tests! A GPS mound is included for added functionality. I plan on releasing additional parts related to the DH-410 drone frame in the near future.
