DH-100 Mouthpiece
thingiverse
This replacement mouthpiece fits the Casio Digital Horn DH-100 and DH-200 series perfectly. The Casio Digital Horn line began in the late 1980s with the DH-100 (silver) and DH-200 (black professional model, virtually identical). Unfortunately, these models were notorious for losing their capacitors to leakage over time. To fix this issue, replacement capacitors must be soldered into place to eliminate the annoying "squeal." Once the capacitors are replaced, the digital horns produce rich, clear sound with ease. Originally, Casio Digital Horns came equipped with two mouthpieces, but after three decades, these accessories have become scarce and difficult to find. Online marketplaces like Ebay do offer them, but at a steep price. This replacement mouthpiece is an accurate replica of the original, capturing its essence and functionality. However, please note that the breath seal relies on the rubber ring at the top, which may wear out or tear over time. If this happens, a small piece of rolled-up tissue can be inserted to restore the breath seal and ensure optimal performance.
