Retractable landing gear and animatable control surfaces add to its functionality, while various file formats house the model alongside all provided textures and materials. The design is derived from the DG-200 variant with a carbon fiber wing, enabling self-launching capabilities and improved performance due to its retractable engine. In comparison to the DG-202, the DG-400 features an enlarged fuselage and tail cone to accommodate the retractable engine and prop, both of which include electric start and retraction systems.
