The sail battens are carefully designed for custom creation of sails on the DF65 JoySway Dragon Force sailboat. The battens are fully compliant with the regulations and fit seamlessly onto rigs A, B, and C. A distinctive feature of these battens is that the top one does not extend all the way to the sail's leading edge, which allows any curves set at the boom to stretch right up to the top of the mainsail. To print these innovative sail battens, users can set their 3D printer as follows: Printer: Achatz EasyDelta Remodelled Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: Each batten measures a mere 0.6 millimeters in thickness, which perfectly complements the translucent quality of ColorFabb XT material used here. What's more impressive is that when bent, these battens automatically return to their original shape without any residual stress. Another experiment revealed the usability of CarbonFabb CF20 carbon-filled material - slightly stiffer yet not regaining its previous state once warped. Post-printing handling is easy and mess-free. A mere strip of thin double-sided carpet tape securely fastens the battens to the sail in seconds.
