Dextro Energy EDC case with less tight lid
prusaprinters

Great design but after fitting the lid on the box I was unable to take the lid off again! It was just too tight (lid & box have the same length sides, meaning no margins) and I believe mine was also so tight it created a small vacuum, making it even harder to remove.

So I've added a 0.1mm margin on the lid as well as a small “DEX” text on the lid to get around it creating a vacuum (while also looking nice). I used a different text for mine though, as can be seen in the screenshot.

While I was at it I also changed the fillet to a chamfer since fillets don't print nicely when curved up from the build plate.

Printed in PLA with same settings as original version:

Perimeters: 2 is enough with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Just make sure the perimeters covers the complete wall thickness.

Infill: Doesn't matter, or 100% if printing in other than 0.2 mm layers.

Layers: 6 bottom, 4 top (standard setting).
