A custom magnetic mount and case for the DEXILIO Mini Body Camera (0.98 x 2.83 x 0.39 in) is required. The case features a slight downward angle, allowing the camera lens to be adjusted upwards. However, when worn, the lens naturally points more upwards due to its position. To secure the mount and case, two or four round rare earth magnets measuring 3mm (height) x 10mm (radius) need to be epoxy'd in place. A thin layer of epoxy should cover the top of each magnet for added security. The camera case can be attached to any metal surface or carried using a necklace adapter. Additional support is provided by wire wings on the adapter, which help stabilize the camera when worn beneath a shirt and clipped over it. A light pipe on top of the case accommodates the indicator light of the camera, which shines brightly indoors but remains invisible in sunlight due to its brightness. However, a pass-through hole on the back of the case allows for the indicator light's visibility. To enhance the camera's performance, consider disassembling it and drilling larger holes for both the LED and microphone. The LED's output is diminished by hot glue covering its hole. Camera disassembly instructions: - Tiny electronics components are required. 1) Remove the SD card from the camera. 2) Locate the two screws near the camera lens on the side of the case and remove them. 3) Gently pull apart the case from the lens, taking care not to damage the IR LEDs and their wires attached. 4) Use a pointed object to push the IR LED PCB free from the case. 5) Heat up the area around the battery and pry it off carefully, being mindful of the wires. 6) Remove three screws from the PCB: two near the USB port and one near the top near the microphone. 7) Turn on the lamp switch by rotating it clockwise. A plastic lock above the switch may need to be released first. 8) Gently remove the PCB from all corners equally, allowing the camera's internal components to come out as a single unit.
