DeWalt XR battery clamp
thingiverse
I crafted a straightforward battery clamp to securely hold down the DeWalt 20V XR battery. My testing has shown that it works seamlessly with the 5AH variant, firmly keeping it in place. To detach, simply rotate the battery with one hand while using the other to push on the mounts. The clamp is fastened with 5mm screws, which are countersunk into the print bed to avoid any unsightly drill marks. I employed standard print settings for my printer, but did opt for a 0.4mm nozzle and a width of 0.5mm with 5 layer walls for added stability. To ensure maximum security, I printed two clamps per battery, though they are narrow enough that you could easily add more if extra protection is required.
