Dewalt XR Battery Case
thingiverse
I created this for my Dewalt angle grinder. This is the bottom part of the battery case, which might hold ten 18650 batteries with standard 4/5/6 amp-hour capacity or fifteen (6-9 amp-hour extended). I built two complete XR-compatible batteries with nine amp-hour capacity using very inexpensive DIY cases and 3000 milliampere-hour 18650 battery cells from Aliexpress. This is not a remake; this is my fully original project. You must keep the top case part with PCB, button, and battery spacer from the DIY set. I use solder and thick wires to connect the 18650 elements together, so the case will be slightly wider than the original model. Be aware! The ten-piece version has not been tested; print it at your own risk! The project is still under development; I will optimize some surfaces and fillets, add a logo, etc.
