I wanted to utilize Dewalt 20 volt batteries on my DIY electric bike without being bothered by the connection setup on most fully 3D printed versions. So, instead of printing the entire thing from scratch and risking a hack job on the connectors, I created a mount for a readily available battery adapter. You can find this adapter online at Amazon.ca; it allows you to use 20 volt lithium batteries in 18 volt tools. The red part unscrews, and you remove the USB power port to connect your own wires. The 3D printed parts replace the upper portion and attach to a bottle holder using one screw and two zip ties. I use two packs in series as my Bafang drive is set up for 36 volts (42 volts peak). The two files are designed for an upper and lower position on the standard spacing for a water bottle holder.
