DISCLAIMER: Power tools are hazardous, don't operate a tool that you're unfamiliar with, and always wear safety glasses when working with tools. Use this part at your own risk. I assume no liability for injury resulting from the use of a part made using this design. The only thing I guarantee is that it fits my saw. Now, let's move on... This is a single-piece dado insert designed for a Dewalt 10-inch portable tablesaw. I created it to complement my dado set, which I'm using to make beehive boxes. It features a 0.875-inch opening for 1/2-inch dados, and you might be able to fit a 0.75-inch dado with some adjustment. I need to experiment further to determine the maximum size possible. The design is based on a referenced part that I used as a starting point for the outline and hole locations. The original source file was designed to be made of wood, but mine is optimized for 3D printing. I printed it in Nylon using an Ultimaker S5. It includes screws for adjusting it to ensure flush contact with the table surface. For now, this design doesn't include a twist latch. However, I'm considering creating a multi-piece version that's more suitable for smaller printers. If that happens, it could be split into smaller pieces and glued or solvent-welded (if printed in ABS) to form a single unit. I've tested the part to ensure it fits my saw, and I'll post real photos of it with dado blades installed soon. Please note that this design doesn't include a retaining latch, so it could become dislodged and potentially damaged during use. I hope you find this design useful and enjoy using it with your tablesaw.
