Dewalt makes a fantastic miter saw stand, but one fatal flaw some of them have, is a really short handle that you cant grab due to the folding legs getting the way. This handle extension moves the handle up 1" (35mm) so that it clears the folding legs and makes it much easier to grab. Hope this helps!
