This adapter is designed to securely attach a Dewalt Random Orbital (DWE6423) sander to the smaller Festool vacuum hose.\r\n\r\nThe fit on the sander is snug, and it extends over the rubber gasket. The plan is that it will not be removed.\r\n\r\nI have an older Festool hose, so my measured diameter might be slightly worn down.
