DeWalt pegboard dual battery holder

DeWalt pegboard dual battery holder

DeWalt battery holder that mounts to a 1/4" pegboard and takes two standard size 20V (AKA 18V in some parts of the world, but using misleading marketing is the norm in North America) DeWalt batteries. I wanted a sideways mount so that I can see at a glance what size I'm reaching for since that is prominently printed on the side. The battery compartment itself is based on maglub's wall-mounted holder, but with the width scaled slightly (102%) based on the comments for that part. The latch bar is removed, since these can only be mounted with gravity to hold it in place. I designed the pegs myself with a few trial-and-error prints as I couldn't find a model with pegs that were quite right. You will want to use supports under each of the 6 pegs. The bottom is squared off from maglub's original design had an elegant curve at the bottom, but it makes it harder to print upright and seems less aesthetically relevant when sideways mounted. I kept the height the same as it closely matches the battery height, but you could chop some off to save a bit of material and printing time. I've seen (in stores) a couple DeWalt batteries that have a larger area (i.e. shorter and flatter) - I think they are meant so that a drill/screwdriver will be a bit more stable when standing upright. I don't have any to test with, but I'm fairly sure this **won't** work for those as-is as this part is designed with only 3-4mm clearance between the battery and the pegboard for a standard DeWalt battery width; the wider batteries would hit the wall/pegboard. Batteries not included.
